Huvepharma® at the ESPHM, Hungary
The Huvepharma® Swine team was present at the European Symposium for Porcine Health Management in Budapest, Hungary, from the 11th to 13th of May. This interesting Symposium gathered key opinion leaders, practitioners and scientists from all over Europe to share new insights on how to further improve pig production and welfare. Ulrich Klein had an interesting talk on the antimicrobial susceptibility profiles of Mycoplasma hyorhinis strains. Furthermore, 5 scientific posters were presented with a clear focus on several brands. We invited our customers to a much appreciated and well attended open air event to strengthen the social contacts we missed enormously during the pandemic. The seminar ended with a beautiful boat trip on the Danube.

Buiatrics Congress in Poland
The XXI Middle European Buiatrics Congress, organised by the Polish Association for Buiatrics, was held in Hotel Anders located in Stare Jabłonki
near Olsztyn from May 19th to May 22nd, 2022. The aim of the Congress is to promote scientific discussions between researchers from different countries
on the current scientific and practical aspects of veterinary medicine for ruminant health.
There were more than 500 participants. Huvepharma® had the opportunity to be one of the sponsors and had a booth.
We focused on the promotion of Parofor® and Albiotic®.

3rd International Hyopathology Conference in Cracow
From the 21st to 22nd of June, the city of Cracow hosted the 3rd International Hyopathology Conference - “New legal regulations on antibiotic use in livestock,
ASF, efficient management of large weaner groups production – challenges for swine veterinarians”.
There were more than 500 delegates. Huvepharma® had the opportunity to be one of the sponsors and had a booth.
We focused on the promotion of Huvamox® and Vulkan®. We had a lecture by Jean-Charles Baglione: “Disinfection as an important tool to control ASF.
New opportunities.” Maciej Nowak and Jean-Charles Baglione have written an article in the Polish magazine for veterinarians „Effective disinfection
of farm premises and agricultural machinery is the main factor in the safety of pig production” to promote Vulkan®.

World Aquaculture Society Merida, Mexico
Due to the richness of its natural and hydrological resources, Mexico is considered to be one of the countries with the greatest aquaculture potential in the world.
Due to this, the World Aquaculture Society, one of the most important organisations of professionals in aquaculture, organized the WA’21 in Merida, Yucatan.
The event was held in the Yucatan International Congress Centre from the 24th to 27th of May, and more than 2000 participants attended. Huvepharma®
was present with a booth welcoming the most important feed mill companies present in Latin America.

Huvepharma® joins Adlibio Animal Nutrition for their 1st Layer seminar
Layer “Eggcellence in 2022 & Beyond”, 25th of May 2022
We regularly get approached to be a part of a variety of Webinars, Seminars and Online conferences during the year but this one was by far the most fun.
Huvepharma® South Africa has joined forces with Adlibio (Leading Animal Nutritionists) in SA to arrange their 1st ever Layer Seminar.
With over 180 in person participants and 70 online participants across Africa, their Layer Seminar was a huge success.
We got to meet new and upcoming Layer Farmers in the industry as well as re-connect with a few familiar names and faces.
With exciting topics like “Does the Egg and Branding have a future together” and “Feeding the modern layer in 2022 & beyond” all participants
were on the edge of their seats. We had a very interactive audience both locally and online.
We are excited to partner with Adlibio for future conferences and generating even more exposure for our Huvepharma® brand.

Workshop in Aquaculture – FENAGRA, Brazil
The Aquaculture Workshop took place in a hybrid format during the FENAGRA 2022 in the city of Campinas in May.
The workshop and fair were attended by key players including feed producers, nutritionists, professionals from research institutions,
universities and fish and shrimp producers. Huvepharma® actively participated in the promotion of enzymes to be used in tilapia and shrimps.
A good approach with the customers led to the initiation of business with relevant companies in this country.

Annual Huvepharma® Introduction tour 7th – 10th June 2022 Bulgaria
Every year Huvepharma® organises Introduction days in Bulgaria in order to welcome our new company employees.
They have the chance to see the production facilities of Biovet® in Peshtera and Razgrad. In total, 68 new members of the Huvepharma® family from
Belgium, Netherlands, Germany, UK, Italy, Spain, Poland, France, Canada, Turkey, Mexico, Thailand, South Africa and Brazil participated in this event.
The program was organised over three days. The first day had presentations from Veerle Hautekiet and Anguel Jeliazkov at official dinner in the
Huvepharma® restaurant ESTE in the company’s head quarter, based in Sofia, Bulgaria.
Throughout the years, Huvepharma® has continued to expand and invest in new products and production lines to meet customers’ expectations.
Each one of the company’s new employees also had the opportunity to feel what it is to be part of the Huvepharma® team.

Aqua India in Chennai
Aqua India 2022, the biennial premier aquaculture event of India, returned to Chennai in June 2022.
More than 450 delegates attended the very interesting 3 day event in the Feathers Hotel, Ramapuram, Chennai.
Huvepharma® had a bright spotlight due to our participation as session sponsor. The event was also a big opportunity to visit customers in the country.

Biovet® Cocci Academy in Czech Republic
On the 23rd of June, the beautiful city of Brno hosted the latest Huvepharma® Cocci Academy event.
There were more than 50 poultry veterinarians from Czech Republic, Slovakia and Austria who attended the lectures and the practical part.
Monita Vereecken presented the Huvepharma® cocci control program and Aviapp®.

Poultry Seminar in Budapest
At the end of June, more than 25 Hungarian poultry veterinarians were gathered in Budapest for a seminar, organized by Huvepharma®
and our local distributor. Ben Dehaeck presented the Huvepharma® cocci control program and the advantages of Monimax®.

52nd Scientific conference in Wrocław, 30th of June – 1st of July
From the 30th of June to the 1st of July, the city of Wrocław hosted the 52nd Scientific conference:
"Current problems in poultry pathology with particular emphasis on the possibility of preventing the spread of infectious diseases".
The main topics were reducing the occurrence of viral and bacterial infections, especially avian influenza and salmonellosis;
reducing the use of antibiotics and the use of alternative antimicrobial substances limiting the cage system of hen rearing;
challenges in the field of effective prevention and immunoprophylaxis of poultry diseases; and the new legal regulations.
Huvepharma® had the opportunity to be one of the sponsors and had a booth. We were focused on the promotion of Huvamox® and Gallifen®.

Huvepharma® at WPC, France
Huvepharma® was present at the World Poultry Congress (WPC) in Paris from August 7th to 11th with 8 posters and one oral communication.
We hosted about 90 customers and targets from 25 countries during this congress.
In total, 135 people joined us on the Tuesday evening for the Huvepharma® WPC dinner at Chalet des Iles in Paris, a splendid location appreciated by our guests.

Belgium veterinarians at a Dairy Farming Conference in Vienna
From August 29th to September 2nd, the 10th European Conference on Precision Livestock Farming and the 3rd International Precision Dairy Farming Conference
took place at the University of Veterinary Medicine, Vienna. Around 370 participants from different disciplines
came together in the Banquet Hall of the Vetmeduni. A group of Belgian veterinarians also participated in the event.
After almost 3 years of no congress organisation, the interest in this 5-day congress was huge.
It was a broad program including diseases, diagnostics, animal welfare and all aspects of dairy, beef, and calf management.
All the vets gained a lot of new knowledge and thanked Huvepharma® for the invitation.
